Friendly faces, careful hands and over 30 years of looking after Richmond families. Get to know the people you'll be seeing every time you visit.

The thing about a small, independent practice is that the people make it. Our team has been built carefully over many years — not assembled overnight — and many of our clinicians and nurses have been with us for the long term. That continuity means a great deal to our patients, who often tell us how reassuring it is to see the same familiar faces year after year.
We're proud of the breadth of skill we have under one roof. From complex implant work and IV sedation through to gentle children's care and orthodontic treatment, our team brings together a wide range of experience - so most of what our patients need can be looked after right here, without being referred elsewhere. Beyond the clinical side, we're also proud of how we treat people. Calm, unhurried, properly listening - those aren't aspirations, they're how we work every day.
At Richmond Hill Dental, we take pride in our role as a leading Dental Implant Centre and Specialist Referral Practice. Our comprehensive range of dental disciplines includes advanced treatments in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. This expertise allows us to provide tailored solutions for every aspect of your dental health, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Matthew graduated from University of Birmingham school of Medicine and Dentistry in 2020 and completed two years in Nottingham working as a general dentist. After moving to London in 2022, he has completed postgraduate training in communication and aesthetic restorative dentistry. He has always had an interest in root canal treatments and began his Master’s degree in endodontics in 2024 to establish his primary focus alongside his general dental skills. For the past few years, he has received internal referrals from colleagues for more challenging root canal treatments and retreatments. He plans to develop this into an external referral network in the future to offer all aspects of endodontic treatment, including endodontic surgery.
Matthew enjoys developing a good relationship with his patients, and hopes to get to know them better on a personal level to ensure his treatment plans are tailored to their wants and needs. He strongly believes in providing a long-term professional relationship for his patients to ensure they are looked after for many years rather than taking a short-term view of dental care. He has a passion for saving teeth as he believes there is no ideal replacement for our natural teeth. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys an active lifestyle playing golf in the summer, and skiing in the winter. His partner is also a dentist and they enjoy travelling together but trying not to talk too much about teeth!

Rachael qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Essex in 2025. Prior to this, she worked as a dental nurse, gaining valuable hands-on experience and a strong understanding of dentistry from multiple perspectives. Having grown up around dentistry, with her mother also working in the profession, she developed an early interest in oral health and patient care.
Her main clinical focus is the management of periodontal disease and prevention-based dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients understand their oral health, empowering them to take control through education, tailored hygiene care and long-term prevention strategies. She particularly enjoys working with nervous patients, drawing on her own extensive personal health journey to provide care that is empathetic, reassuring and patient centred.
Her treatment philosophy is rooted in holistic health. She believes oral health is closely connected to overall wellbeing and takes time to explore the wider factors that may influence each patient's dental health. By looking beyond symptoms alone, she aims to deliver personalised, thorough and effective care in a supportive environment.
Outside of dentistry, Rachael has a strong interest in geography and enjoys keeping active by going to the gym. She is a committed Christian, and her faith plays an important role in shaping her values, particularly kindness, compassion and integrity, which she brings into her everyday work with patients.
